That's what i go to school for

I find it really unfair for me to be picking on Mages and her eating habits all the time, so i think i better  pick on someone else's eating habit. Haha, let's talk about Winnie's. She's a petite girl with a petite stomach. She can NEVER finish her food! She'll buy a large potion claiming she's super hungry but she'll only eat half on it! We often teased her by betting amongst each other if she can really finish up her food. Here's proof! Haha *grin*

I know!! I'm sorry, i haven't been blogging for a week! Been busy busy busy! Seriously, i need a life! Haha, done doing my resume and cover letter. Tee hee! Thanx Alistair for you sample
cover letter. I was basically being so conceited and selling myself! The girls were like "You always do that!". Jeeeesh, i know i have more than once advertised myself on this blog but i mean come on! Future employer is so much different than a fervor reader.

I so hate this abdominal pain. I know i need to go to see a doctor! Haha, you guys sound like a broken record. Fine, I'll go okay since i already promised someone and I'm not a promise breaker. What's the big deal anyway, worse case scenario I'll just die. Haha

The girls have been teasing me about Robert the whole time, ever since they got to know about him. Even when we're not talking about him, they'll bring him in.

Here's a classic scenario

[During lunch time; Winnie, WinnieC, Joanne gossiping in Mandarin while Mages and I trying so hard to understand]
Arynne: What you girls talking about? Who? What what?
WinnieC: Nothing! You go talk to your holy monkey (that's part of his email address by the way)

Arynne: Pfft, holy or not.. that monkey still belongs to me!

I did not start talking about him, they're always the ones to start it first! Okay, let's stop talking about him. Anyhoo, my lecture mates are hilarious! Haha. We make fun of each other's imaginary boyfriends (pictures are Mages' boyfriends) and not forgetting doodling on each other's lecture notes.

Speaking of girl friends, went to Vivocity with my girlfriends yesterday! But I'll write about that next time, when the pictures are up!

I lost my final fight to disease, I feel that this is where it ends

So here's the thing, i think i did blogged about Mages eating the same food time and time again during lunch. And today, I'm supposed to blog about how she changed her lunch menu (from the normal egg, hashbrown and sausages to fishball noodle soup), but i totally forgotten to bring my USB cable so therefore no proof. Gah! There should be a picture accompanying this paragraph but pardon my absent-mindedness please. Thank you.

Anyhooooo, I've been having this bad lower abdominal pains so being the paranoid hypochondriac that i am, i begin googling my symptoms. I found this website (but can't remember the URL, sorry) that will list down all the possible diagnoses just by selecting your symptoms from a list.

Of course, when it falls into the hands of an illness-stricken emotional wreck like me, it turns out to be more of a liability instead. I mean yeah of course, it's cool and all to have the possible causes listed down for you but really, do you want it? Haha, i got scared really and just became more paranoid.

It's like, "Maybeee, just maybeeeee i could have that.. or that.. or that.. ahhh!"

I told Sally the reason why i keep dragging my making an appointment to the doctor is because I'm scared. I keep playing all the worse-case scenarios in my head and try to prepare myself for any kinda news but honestly, i don't think it's enough. Sure, it'll be fine if i have just some gastritis or something but what if it's something serious?

Sally told me to define this something serious. So i said "What if the doctor told me 'You might just as well enjoy what's left of your life.'?". As usual Sally thought i was exaggerating but can we know for sure? So she told me to just go with the flow.

I'm here now to tell everyone my decision. I think I'm not going to the doctor for a check up. Since Sally told me to go with the flow, i think I'd rather just let nature take its course.

If there's nothing wrong with me, the abdominal pains and lower back pains will eventually go off. If not, then nyeah, you know. We'll die eventually. Am i being a little too pessimistic? Haha sorry about that.

Oh i don't know. I know i should go but it's just that I'm a little scared. What if it's bad, you know? I want someone to be there for me to hug me and tell me that everything's gonna be fine (even if it's self-evidently not).

Anybody wanna accompany me? *pouts*

P/S: I know who i want to accompany me but he's wayyyyyyyyyy back in Michigan! Lol, k I'll shut up now! *innocent grin*

Colour coordinate with 'dem shoes, yo we divas but we ride like big boys do

So i totally blew my ICC lab test. Don't ask, i got 4 out of 10. Damn the pressure function! I so wanted the stupid water limit paper. Whatever, this always happens to me. I wanted to study the function in i didn't cause i was being lazy and was just irritated. Nah, it was nothing. I was doing my project judging presentation slides but the computer was super laggy! So i was trying to save the file and send it to my email to continue it another day but the stupid computer wasn't cooperating. It keeps freezing and at the same time, my groupmate for Automation project was complaining non stop about the other group mates and it was annoying the fuck out of me! I just told her to stop talking, slapped the LCD screen twice and continued with what i was doing.

Went to have early dinner (or late lunch, whichever way you look at it) with the girls at Flavours @ IT. I begged Mages to accompany me to Bugis to pierce my lip/tongue but she blatantly refused cause she's scared of the procedure i guess. Anybody wanna accompany me?

Anyhoo, the girls were totally against the idea of me having my tongue but I'm gonna do it anyway. I'm thinking of doing it this weekend but i just remembered that i have a presentation and an interviewing skills assessment this month and i believe i still need my oral skills. Haha, i don't wanna fail just because i can't talk properly due to the swollen tongue. So maybe end of this month? Be patient Robert (haha, just kidding)!

Mages told me to cancel off the idea as i won't be able to eat for 10 days after the piercing but i told her that it's fine since i wanna lose some weight anyway, and then Mages started lecturing me about eating only once a day which have caused me some abdominal discomfort. She even did some re-enactment of me crouching down and applying pressure on my tummy. It was hilarious but the pain was really unbearable.

I used to have it when i was younger but the doctor gave me some pills and i was fine after that. And then a few years back, i started having this gastric attacks but the pain is totally different from what I've been having lately. I started having sharp tugging pain at the left side of my abdominal. It's been a few months but these few weeks have been frequent and each time it lasted for hours. It have this sudden attack kinda thing and it's really annoying cause i can't walk, if i do, it'll aggravate the pain even more.

Let me describe the pain to you like how i described it to all other people. It's like someone stabbed me with a really sharp and cold blade and twisting the blade repeatedly before leaving it there for 3 hours and then pulling it out very very slowly. Yes, that! I know, i watched too much gore movies.

Mommy and Robert have been telling me to visit the doctor but i refused cause i don't wanna find out that i only have about 3 more months to live. Or worse, i have to go for immediate surgery and then the surgery turn out to be a failure and i die. I know, I'm thinking too much and they're right to ask me to see the doctor but I'm a little scared i guess. Miss me when i die okay!

Didn't feel like going home straight last night so went shopping with the girls. We're supposed to follow Mages to buy her shoes for presentation but we being girls and all just tried on the shoes too.

There's this shoe that i tried and it was gorgeous. When i found out that the shoes only cost twenty bucks, like oh my goodness, what a bargain! Haha. I was contemplating buying those shoes so the girls decided to go show window shopping first. I saw alot of other pretty shoes but the shoes i tried on the first time was still on my mind. I can literally hear the shoes calling out to me.

"Arynnnnnneeeeeeee, buyyyyyy meeeee", the shoes called out and i can see my name all over the shoes. So i decided to buy it. I was super happy, i was telling my friends that I'll even sleep with the shoes last night (but of course i didn't).

Wanna see my shoes? If you look close enough, you can see my name written all over it. Haha just kidding!

WinnieC told me to write about Mages' eating habits. Haha, I'll try to sum up what we talk about in one paragraph or less. Basically, WinnieC noticed that Mages have been eating the same food everyday. Sausages, hashbrown and egg. Want prove? Haha

I'm happy! I'm so so so so happy. Haha, I'm smiling right now!

Tsk, no! Nothing to do with guys. Well i guess, if you consider my dad, but he's just not ANY guy. He's the best there is! Okay sorry, I'm talking crap.

I'm just ecstatic cause my mom have finally agreed to go for dinner as a family. Mom, Dad, younger brother and me. On the condition that it's my dad's treat but i don't mind!

What?! You're shocked? Imagine MY surprise! I thought i was dying or something, if not, why would mom suddenly think of having a family outing. Well, i hope my life will take a good turn after this good news.

Anyway, as i mentioned at previous posts, i went toiletries shopping last week. I didn't go that far, just at Northpoint with my mom since it was her day off. It's like a ritual i do once a month or once in two months. Ask any girl, they'll definitely agree with me if i say that girls cannot live without toiletries shopping (or any kinda shopping for that matters) Tee hee.

Wanna know what i bought?

I probably shouldn't tell you all the things that can be found in my toiletries and make up bags since it will render me defenseless but you know, what the hell. It'll be fun and who knows, you might know a thing or two about what's going on under that long gorgeous locks of mine! (Haha, sorry for being so self-absorbed!)

The first thing and definitely most important is my wet facial tissues of course! I'll use it to wipe all the make up off my face. It's very important to clean off every single grain of those powder that is clogging your pores. I believe some girls use make up remover and cotton pads, but I'll just use the facial wipes so it'll be much easier. Do take note that you need to spend atleast 10 minutes to remove all the make up!

Without this, i can never start my beauty regime!

Next starts the cleansing of your skin. This include the facial wash, the toner and the moisturizer. You can just use the facial form but it'll work much better if you were to follow the instructions to complete the regime.

I used to experiment with alot of brands to see which is suitable for my skin and so far I've been using Garnier Pure. One tip, if your skin started cracking or breaking out when you use a particular brand, it means you should change cause the product might be too strong for you.

Next on my list are two things that can complete your look. The eyelash curler and the mascara. Without it, you might as well go out without make up! Make sure that you don't forget to curl your eyelashes or it'll never be perfect! So don't ignore that step!

Asience shampoo and treatment, especially for Asian hair. It's safe for daily use and it won't dry up your hair but I'm still experimenting with it so i have nothing much to say about it. So far it's been fine i guess. Give me another week okay!

Nivea Whitening lotion. I've just started using this but it's really light and not sticky like some of the other body lotion. It leaves your skin really smooth. It have a very refreshing smell and protect you against UVA and UVB so you can use it everyday.

Nivea extra whitening deodorant is not sticky, doesn't leave stain on your clothes and definitely no alcohol so it's fine for those sensitive skin.

Cotton pads are very essential to any girls. Some girls use it to remove their make up, some use it to clean off their eyeliner (i don't know how they do that though) but all girls use this cotton pads to apply toner on their faces. It evenly spreads the toner and at the same time wipe off excess sebum from your facial wash.

Cotton buds. There are all sorts as you know, for babies, for make up and also the multi-purpose one.

You all must be wondering what the hell cotton buds are for right? Well let me tell you something that not many people know about it. Well, to guys anyway cause girls really see it very useful. They make really good eyeshadow applicator especially if you need to apply it near your lash line. They help shape your eyebrow too if you need to draw them everyday and not forgetting, with some eye make up remover at the cotton tip, you can clean off that stubborn eyeliner marks at the inner corner of you eyes. It's all good! Haha.

Tee hee, well i have other products that i use but I'll leave that to your imagination. I will never let any guy fully know what's in my make up bag so nyaha! Haha.

Let me leave you all with a simple beauty tip.

To get really soft kissable lips, use a soft bristle toothbrush (the ones you use for your baby siblings) and brush it on your lips in a soft circular motion, and then apply some lips moisturizer and leave it to heal. Do it at night where you don't need any lippy activities!

Okay i have something to confess. It's not really important but it's just something that i need to say or else I'll be uncomfortable for my whole entire week!

Here goes.

I have a crush on someone. Well not exactly A crush, and not exactly someONE either cause I'm kinda attracted to more than one person.

I know, i shouldn't fall for someone who I've ever met especially after the Rob incident (something I'd rather forget but well, you guys know how it is! haha). It's just that, they're just so adorable and really dreamy.

This is gonna sound really superficial an extremely shallow but I'm really attracted to them physically. The face, the body and probably cause they're rich too.

I've always liked cute nerd (the geeky glasses, the awkwardness and the brain!), mentioned that a few times in my blog too, and I've never really go for the sportsmen type (though i really love basketball players and motorcross racers! tee hee).

Okay, enough about that. I know I'm betraying the nerd population (as what Alistair said, haha) by being attracted to these guys cause they look like the types who will stuff that cute nerd in the locker if he refuses to do their homework for them (well two of them look like it anyway).

Well i guess you all wanna know who they are right? I'm sorry okay, but i really can't help it. I can't stop it willingly when i have feelings for someone. You all know how loyal i can be but liking these guys make me feel like I'm betraying myself (i know nobody cares, but i do!).

Whatever, I'm gonna tell you all who there are now. Hope you all won't kill me for this.

I know i'm a young girl, but i know how to have fun

Finally!! After an anxious wait, i'm able to post pictures on Friendster blog again! Haha, so i guess now i have to be very picky on what pictures to put huh!

As some of you know, my mom had a minor foot incident which resulted her to be hospitalized and operated on. The reason why i didn't alert you guy cause it wasn't anything serious, but i would really like to thank you people for all the well wishes! My mom says thanks too and appreciate it lots!

My mom had a minor foot surgery. I can't tell you much about what happened on that day cause i wasn't there but one thing is for sure, i bet she's sleeping all the way since she have been sedated!

To be honest, i was a bit worried on that day. And i apologize to everyone if i wasn't my cheerful self that day! Muacks!

Violet and I visited my mom and she was just lying in bed after eating dinner. Lol, i have to say she looked pretty relaxed. My mom was complaining about how bored she was and how she have nothing to do except eat and sleep.

Haha, i think she deserve the rest since she have been working non stop. Hey! I do feel sorry for my mom okay! Why do you think i study so hard for!? Okay, that's not the point right now! Haha

Just as she was complaining, supper came. She ate while i took pictures. After visiting hours was over, Violet and I wanna go home, we decided to check out the Nursery but have no idea where so we decided to explore the freaking hospital.

Seeing how deserted the hospital was, naturally my imagination started running wild. I was thinking about this Indonesian horror movie and started talking about it to Violet.

Let's sidetrack for a little bit and talk about this movie. The movie is called 'Suster Ngesot' translates to english, means 'Crawling Nurse'. It's about this psycho guy that is being haunted by the nurses he raped and kill (not necessarily in that order) before cutting their legs off and burying them under the banana tree. Well, apparently there's these two couples suddenly decide to fornicate at the exact spot where the bodies were buried. Bleah! I know, stupid plot right! Haha k, sorry! After their jungle adventures *rolls eyes* (Haha! Arynne, what a jerk!), one of the girl decided to pee, by accident of course, on a grave. Wowee and the other girl just decides to leave her virgin blood for the souls to feed on.

Okay, my point was, i got freaked by the quietness of the hospital that i became paranoid! Haha, although Violet was beside me, i jumped when the automatic door open.

I know! I watched too much horror movies! Belle was right, watching scary shows will bring you unnecessary fear! Haha, oh well!

Anyways continuing, after that stupid jump, the nurse behind me laughed! I don't blame her, i laughed at myself too and not to mention Violet was mocking me!

So we walked past this power supple room with some Indian technicians inside. Whatever, Violet and I continued talking, and then suddenly the technician decided to turn on the radio! Pfft, great timing guys! I was still thinking of that haunted hospital when i jumped, yet again, at the song.

Hello! Don't blame me okay! The place was in complete silence and then suddenly you hear people whistling with whispering music at the background! OKay fine, laugh at me! *pouts*

Anyway, we didn't find the stupid nursery so we decided to go home! Plus, we were super hungry!

We waited so long for the bus and it was funny cause when the bus finally arrived, it didn't stop! We were talking, yes i admit that but surely the bus driver saw us walking towards the bus right? Haha, Violet looked at me with a stupid, slightly embarrassed look, i looked back at her and laughed hysterically!

Okay, fine!! It's not funny now, it's one of those things where you have to be there to find it funny.

23rd February 2008, Saturday.

     

Visited my mom again! Haha, this time with Hazel, Violet, Aunt Maz and Uncle Jimmy. Nothing to say about that day except the my mom's colleagues came to visit her. They brought fruit baskets, i was bored so i decide to ravaged on one of the baskets and start eating the fruits! Oh, and the strawberry was heavenly! Huge, red and sweet, just the way i like it!

Pfft, don't even get me started on what happened! My mom's friend brought her 5 year old daughter along so i'm being so nice by offering her a strawberry, boy did i regret it!

I'm like so much bigger than her, so it's definitely common sense for me to eat faster. I jokingly commented on how i already finished two strawberries when she's only just started on hers. You wanna know what the mother replied? She said, with the most sarcastic voice ever, "She's a virgin, that's why!" I innocently replied, "AND I'M NOT?!" Oh my goodness, she still have the cheek to reply NO to that question!

Seriously, i think i wasn't really thinking at that time, probably why i didn't shoot her back.

When we got home, Aunt Maz was furious! I mean, come to think of it, what the hell does eating fast have got to with virginity!? Well unless she eats with her pussy, then I've got nothing to say! Haha, whatever! I'm not gonna make her famous by talking about her here. I just don't think she made sense at all!

24th February 2008, Sunday.
Hazel, Violet and I fetched my mom from the hospital, sent her home and stole some fruits from her fruit basket! Tee hee!

We were hungry so Violet suggested going to a Drive-in McD.

Went to Violet's house, eat, watch a little television and went online! Haha, that's when i webcammed with Rob (and of course, TJ), with Violet and Hazel in the room.

Mechatronics Engineering

Everybody knows that I'm taking Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering!
